My experience includes 10 years as a New York City elementary school teacher. I am trained in the Wilson Reading program as well as other balanced literacy and math instruction. My desire to be a tutor, is to be able to bring out student potential in an organized, efficient way, while making learning fun. I work to build confidence and unblock perceived limitations to learning. I modify instruction based on learning style and interests.
