I enjoy community and school volunteering, pilates, stand up paddleboarding, sailing, cooking, gardening and raising our very own precocious and generally awesome nine year old! We are an active SoCal family, and have been residents of the South Bay for 20 years. Originally from the midwest (Ohio), my husband and I met in college and headed west a few years later. Our parenting philosophy is one of respectful communication, and we work together to ensure our daughter is raised with a thoughtful and mindful perspective on life. I come from a long line of teachers, and was fortunate enough to have incredible professional mentors. In turn, I was quickly exposed to the joys of mentorship and coaching as I managed several dozen team members over the years (from interviews to entry level training and advanced career development).
